Printing a contract, signing it by hand and scanning it back in wastes paper and time — and the result usually looks worse than the original. PDFCreature's Sign PDF tool lets you add a genuine-looking signature to any document in seconds: sketch it with a mouse, finger or stylus, type your name in a handwriting style, or drop in a photo of the signature you already use. Position it precisely over the signature line, scale it to fit, add initials on other pages if the agreement requires them, and export a clean signed PDF. Every step runs locally in your browser, so employment contracts, NDAs and tenancy agreements stay on your own machine.
Why use this PDF tool?
Three ways to sign
Draw freehand, type your name in a script style, or upload an existing signature image.
Precise placement
Drag the signature anywhere on the page and resize it with the corner handle until it lines up.
Multi-page signing
Drop initials or signatures on as many pages as the document requires before exporting once.
Touch and stylus ready
The signing pad works with a finger on phones and tablets, not just a mouse.
Transparent output
Signatures are embedded as transparent PNG images, so nothing underneath is hidden.
Private by design
The PDF is rendered and signed in your browser — it is never uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to sign a PDF?
No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no limit on how many documents you sign.
What image format works best for an uploaded signature?
A PNG with a transparent background looks the most natural. A JPG scan works too, though it carries a white box behind the ink.
Can I add initials as well as a full signature?
Yes. Create a shorter signature with just your initials and place it on the pages that need them.
Will the signed PDF still be searchable?
Yes. Existing text stays fully selectable and searchable; only the signature is added as an image layer.
Can someone remove my signature afterwards?
It is drawn into the page content, so it will not detach on its own. For extra assurance, run the signed file through Protect PDF to add a password.
Is this the same as a digital certificate signature?
No. This adds a visible electronic signature, which suits everyday agreements. Cryptographic certificate signing is a separate, regulated process.
Does it work on scanned documents?
Yes. Scanned or image-only PDFs display in the preview and accept signatures exactly like text-based files.
Is there a file size limit?
Documents up to 100 MB are supported, which comfortably covers contracts, leases and multi-page agreements.
