Word to PDF

Convert .docx documents into clean, searchable A4 PDFs. No Office licence, no upload, no watermark.

One Word document · up to 100 MB · .docx

Sending a Word file to a client is a gamble: fonts substitute, pagination drifts and anyone can edit the text. Converting to PDF locks the document down so it looks the same on every screen and printer. PDFCreature's Word to PDF converter reads your .docx directly in the browser, typesets the content onto A4 pages with sensible margins, and hands back a searchable PDF you can email, upload to a job portal or archive for compliance.

Why use this PDF tool?

No Office required

Convert .docx files even on a machine that has never had Microsoft Word installed.

Real, searchable text

The PDF contains embedded text, not screenshots, so it stays searchable and accessible.

Consistent pagination

Automatic word wrapping and page breaks produce a predictable A4 document every time.

Stays on your device

The .docx is unzipped and rendered locally — nothing is transmitted to a server.

Great for applications

Job portals, universities and tender systems almost always prefer PDF over Word.

Free and unlimited

No trial pages, no daily quota, no watermark stamped across your work.

Frequently asked questions

Does it support .doc as well as .docx?

Only .docx is read directly. Open an old .doc in Word or Google Docs and use Save As to produce a .docx first.

Will complex formatting survive?

Body text, paragraph flow and reading order are preserved. Heavily designed layouts with floating text boxes are simplified into clean flowing pages.

What page size is used?

A4 with 50 pt margins, which prints correctly on both A4 and US Letter paper.

Is there a file size limit?

Documents up to 100 MB are accepted, which is far larger than a typical Word file.

Can I convert a resume this way?

Yes, and it is the recommended format for applications. You can also run the result through the ATS Resume Checker.

Does the tool store my document?

No. There is no upload step, so there is nothing on our side to store or delete.

Can I merge the PDF with others afterwards?

Yes — send the output to Merge PDF to combine it with cover letters, certificates or appendices.

Is the output print-ready?

Yes. The PDF uses standard fonts and page geometry that any home or office printer handles correctly.
