Privacy Policy

What happens to your documents, in plain language — and what we deliberately never do with them.

Files processed in your browser

Merge, split, compress, rotate, organise, watermark, page numbers, sign, protect and the Office conversions all run locally inside your browser tab. Those documents are never uploaded, so we cannot read, copy or retain them.

Files processed with AI

The AI summariser, PDF chat, translator and resume tools require a language model. Text extracted from your document is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection, used only to generate your result, and is not used to train models or shared with advertisers.

Retention

Any temporary data that reaches our infrastructure is removed automatically by a scheduled cleanup job. We do not keep a permanent copy of your files and there is no upload history attached to you.

Information we collect

You can use the tools without an account. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep your message and address only to reply. Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics help us see which tools need work.

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies for core functionality and to remember your language and theme. Advertising partners may set their own cookies to fund hosting; details are in the cookie policy.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion at any time via the contact page. We respond promptly and in line with GDPR and comparable privacy laws.

Honest limits

We are an independent project, not a certified enterprise vendor, and we hold no ISO or SOC certification. We secure the service with HTTPS and local processing, but no online service can promise absolute security.
